I-90 Corridor: The East/West Gradient

Nothing like an early saturday morning field trip in the Pacific Northwest. Seriously! Autumn arrived three weeks ago, but up until this week we haven't really seen her true colors. Too bad it was raining a little too hard at 2 out of the 4 locations for me to take my camera out, so photos are only of the dry spots.

The rain finally stopped once we got over the pass and into the ponderosa pine forest.
