Chilling to Frank Ocean with Bea on the way to Macchu Picchu. nbd.
And here's your standard shot. Now to find some fresh perspective.
But first, one more group shot :)
A lot of landscapes just make more sense to me in black and white.
"I'm beginning to get very attached to these plants." -Alison on epiphytic bromeliads. I laughed.
We took a nap on those terraces for a good hour after doing some field observations. It was the best nap ever.
Then fate brought me alpacas. Giddy is the closest word to describe how happy I was.
This is the moment I've dreamed of before even getting on the plane.
Dream became reality. "Where the hell am I?"
But this next photo has to be my favorite shot of the day.
How do I describe this? I did not feel like I was at Macchu Picchu when I was there. The city looks exactly like the pictures I have seen my whole life, except... I was there. It was right in front of me, and I could walk down and touch the walls. It did not sink in that there was nothing but a couple of yards between me and the ruins. I don't know if it has even sunken in now.
