When you put it like that...

"I have long since lost accurate count, but at least two thousand of my pictures have been published, some many times over.  If I had shot these at an average shutter speed of 1/60th of a second, the core of my life's work consists barely thirty seconds' worth of exposed film - one second for every year of my career! Even if I add up every frame I have ever cranked through a camera, include all the trash, the total would be less than a million slides - less than five minutes of decisive creativity."
